Cream together the butter or margarine
and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs, stir in
the bananas, then fold in the flours, baking powder and mixed spice.
Add enough of the milk to make a soft mixture. Spoon into a greased
and lined 900 g/2 lb loaf tin (pan) and level the surface. Bake in a
preheated oven at 190°C/375°F/gas mark 5 until risen and golden brown.
