Heat the milk in a pan. Beat the eggs in
a bowl until thick and creamy, then add the sugar and lemon juice.
Pour in the flour and baking powder, then gradually beat in the hot
milk until smooth. Spoon into a greased 20 cm/8 in cake tin (pan) and
bake in a preheated oven at 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4 for 20 minutes
until well risen and springy to the touch.
