Method:
Mix together the flour, baking powder
and cinnamon. Rub in the butter or margarine, then stir in the sugar,
treacle and enough of the milk to make a soft dough. Roll out to 1
cm/0.5 in thick and cut into 5 cm/2 in rounds with a biscuit (cookie)
cutter. Place the scones (biscuits) on a greased baking tray and bake
in a preheated oven at 220°C/425°F/gas mark 7 for 10-15 minutes until
well risen and golden brown.
