175 g/6 oz butter or margarine, softened
50 g/2 oz caster (superfine) sugar
50 g/2 oz soft brown sugar
90 ml/6 tbsp golden (light corn) syrup
A pinch of salt
275 g/10 oz rolled oats
Method:
Mix together the butter or margarine and
sugars in a large bowl and cook on High for 1 minute. Add the
remaining ingredients and stir well. Spoon the mixture into a greased
18 cm/7 in microwave dish and press down lightly. Cook on High for 5
minutes. Leave to cool slightly, then cut into squares.
