Coffee Butter Icing Recipe

Ingredients: Makes enough to fill and cover one 20 cm / 8 in cake

100 g/4 oz butter or margarine, softened
225 g/ 8 oz icing (confectioners') sugar, sifted
15 ml/1 tbsp milk
15 ml/1 tbsp coffee essence (extract)

Method:

Beat the butter or margarine until soft. Gradually beat in the icing sugar, milk and coffee essence until well blended.
